Enseignant à la retraite depuis 2000 (il enseignait le français, le latin et le néerlandais), Jacques Fermaut a poursuivi son travail de recherche sur le premier siècle en Flandre. En 1978 , l'ouvrage d'un historien et archiviste néerlandais, Albert Delahaye, Le mythe des Normands aux Pays-Bas - Archivariaat Nassau-Brabant a bouleversé sa compréhension du premier millénaire de l'histoire du Nord. Depuis, Jacques Fermaut œuvre pour que ses thèses soient accessibles à un plus grand nombre, notamment par le biais de son blog home.nordnet.fr/~jacfermaut.

Laurice Fox est Bachelor of Arts de Middlebury College (Vermont , Etats Unis). Elle a suivi des études internationales, en particulier en Europe, avec une spécialisation en sociologie et en langue française. A l'iriv elle a été associée au projet ALLinHE (allinhefr.blogspot.fr) en 2012. Elle a publié dans le numéro 21 des rives de l’iriv un article où elle a livré son expérience d'étudiante internationale dans une Université française.
Laurice Fox is an undergraduate student at Middlebury College (Vermont, USA). She majors in International Studies and specializes in Sociology and French, with a focus on European studies. Her article on the perception of French academics at a University level was published in les rives de l'iriv, issue number 21 . At iriv she developed a web blog for the project ALLinHE (allinhefr.blogspot.fr) to inform the public of its primary objectives, which is to have an open door policy at educational institutions for their under represented groups of all backgrounds. She also aided in French to English translation.

The Fivol was the Italian partner of the European project Leonardo da Vinci, Valoriser les acquis d'une expérience bénévole - Vaeb (www.eEuropeassociations.net), 2003-2006, awarded in Helsinki in 2006.

Marco Funk est étudiant en Master d'Affaires européennes à Sciences Po, Paris. Il est diplômé en Sciences politiques de l'Université de Floride Centrale (UCF) à Orlando, Etats-Unis d'Amérique, où il a suivi des cours en journalisme. Assistant journaliste chez Deutsche Welle Télévision à Berlin, Allemagne (2010) , il a participé à la campagne électorale d'Obama en 2008, et organisé des points presse sur des événements politiques en Europe et en Russie pour UCF Global Perspectives (2011). Il a organisé plusieurs simulations diplomatiques de l'ONU (Model United Nations) et a présidé l'Association pour les Nations Unies à UCF. Ses origines italo-allemande et sa vie aux Etats-Unis et en Italie, lui ont permis d'aborder personnellement la problématique de la migration. Étudiant en affaires européennes, il est particulièrement intéressé par les questions migratoires en Europe et l'intégration des migrants. Chargé de mission à l'iriv, Marco a participé au projet Migrapass (www.migrapass.eu)
Marco Funk is a graduate student pursuing a Master in European Affairs at Sciences Po, Paris. He completed his Bachelor in Political Science at the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando, USA, where he also followed courses in journalism. Some of his extracurricular experiences include working on the 2008 Obama election campaign, assisting journalists at Deutsche Welle Television in Berlin, Germany (2010) and following political events in Europe and Russia during his internship at UCF Global Perspectives (2011). Marco has also participated in several Model United Nations conferences and was the president of the United Nations Association at UCF. Having grown up in the United States and Italy with German-Italian parents, Marco's personal experiences and multicultural upbringing sparked an interest in international migration issues. As a student of EU politics, migration towards/within Europe and the integration of migrants in EU countries especially interests him. During his time at iriv, Marco is assisting the completion of the Migrapass project (www.migrapass.eu)
